Haworth and Thornton, Summer 1998

The Bronte Parsonage

The church in which the Rev.
Patrick Bronte preached.  The
stone reads:

THIS WAS THE SITE
OF THE GATE LEADING
TO THE CHURCH, USED BY
THE BRONTE FAMILY,
AND THROUGH WHICH THEY
WERE CARRIED TO
THEIR FINAL RESTING PLACE
IN THE CHURCH

This is an inscription in the church
at Haworth.  Anne is the only
